Today is a cool, autumnal day. Breezy at times, but as of right now, the leaves that remain are still. I welcome the wind that will send them all scattering about, falling to the earth. Some will be raked into piles that the children will leap upon, then into, as there is little strength in a fallen leaf...even collectively. Some will be pressed into old, large books, to be savored another day. Others will lay where they have fallen, continuing their journey, returning to the earth.
